Ilala Weavers

Ilala Weavers helps over 2000 Zulu people, both men and women, to attain self-sufficiency, by working from their homes and therefore retaining their lifestyle and rich lifestyle and rich heritage of basket weaving and beadwork which has been passed down through the generations by Zulu craftswomen, whose modern counterparts today produce stunning works of art, sought after the world over.

Ngweni Railroad Brewery & Cafe

Open daily from 8am to 9pm @ night (except Sunday nights).
Our Tap Room in the brewery opens at 10am and has a full bar with a great selection of craft beers and beers on tap. Full glass panels allow for uninterrupted views of the beer brewing equipment or enjoy your favourite sport on our big screen television.

The cafe is situated within the Ilala Weavers Complex within walking distance of the Hluhluwe Cottages

Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Park

Established in 1895, the Park covers some 96000 ha and contains an immense diversity of fauna and flora. Viewing hides overlook waterholes enabling visitors to see animals at close range. As home of Operation Rhino in the 1950s and 60s, the park became world renowned for its white rhino conservation.

Emdoneni Lodge Cheetah And Serval Project

Emdoneni has a successfully managed Cheetah Project since 1994 and Serval Project since 1998, with a vision to provide and maintain an environmentally friendly and aesthetic wildlife centre. At Emdoneni these cats – cheetah, serval, caracal and wildcats; are cared for or are undergoing rehabilitation.

Bayete Zulu Elephant Interaction

Be touched by an Elephant! Bayete Zulu have educational shows starring Rambo, Rachel and Jabulani. The interaction includes the history of how Rambo and Rachel came to Zululand, amazing facts about elephants, their caretakers and then you get up close and personal while you get to feed and touch these majestic giants. A treat not to be missed! Bookings are essential!

Zulu Croc

Zulu Croc is a World-Class Reptile Park! Activities include Adventure Shows, Guided Tours, Walk Through, Zulu Dancing and a Restaurant. There is also a mini culture village and curio shop. On request you can be lucky to experience a night show.

Dumazulu Traditional Zulu Villages

Experience South Africa’s biggest cultural village. Watch as locals make spears, shields, baskets and clay pots. Peek into the world of the Sangoma and have a one on one reading. Experience the rhythmic drumbeat and dance of Africa.

Duma Zulu Bird and Reptile Park

Walk through the bird and reptile park, boasting the largest free-flight aviary in the Kwazulu-Natal. Once you have walked through the bird park you will enter the reptile park. Here you can encounter an amazing collection of reptiles, spiders and frogs. Overcome your fears and learn to appreciate their beauty.

Hluhluwe Horse Safaris

Hluhluwe Horse Safaris is the only licenced operator organizing horse safaris in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park – False Bay section, a UNESCO proclaimed world heritage site. Experienced, qualified guides will take you deep into False Bay Park, with its vast views over the lake, scenic beauty and rare sand forest.

False Bay Park

False Bay Park is a special place tucked away on the Western shores of the St Lucia Lake complex, with fascinating marine and coral fossils found scattered throughout the area. The unique diversity facilitates excellent bird watching and game viewing opportunities. High concentrations of crocodiles in the lake prevent swimming; however, boating and fishing are very popular.
